Bank of Canada to keep rate at record lows through 2010

OTTAWA -- The Bank of Canada kicked off its foray into quantitative easing Tuesday by lowering its key benchmark rate by 25 basis points, to 0.25%, and committing to provide excess cash in the system on a daily basis in the hopes it will be lent out.  Read the full article here:
