Originally from Vancouver, Mark knows its neighbourhoods. Although this is his 6th year in the business, he grew up in a family involved in various aspects of real estate.
Mark serves all areas of Vancouver, in all price ranges, knows the condo market thoroughly and sells homes to local, experienced and first-time buyers, as well as foreign investors - including buyers from the U.S., Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Many of Mark’s clients come from past client recommendations and referrals.
With rental properties of his own, Mark is a real estate investor who knows about property transfer taxes, insurance and other issues you need to think about as an investor.

The China Connection
Though modest, what you’ll find intriguing is that Mark speaks Mandarin. After completing a B.A. in Geography from Simon Fraser University, he went to China’s Beijing Language Institute and earned another B.A. in Mandarin on 4 years of scholarship.
Later, he was employed for 2 years in Hong Kong for the port’s division of Li Ka-shing’s Hutchison Whampoa Ltd, a leading international corporation. There, he gained valuable experience working with Hong Kong's unique people, customs and business procedures. What this means for you is that he is exceptionally responsive and at ease with the traditions and business practices of clients from other countries.

Interests
Mark is passionate about his work, balancing career with family life, playing squash regularly to unwind and also enjoying skiing, snowboarding, camping, and fishing. Always refining his skills, he might still sneak in a Mandarin language class at the university just to keep fluent.
